The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program is a powerful way to make a lasting impact on the lives of students at Kiski School. This program enables businesses and individuals to redirect their state tax dollars into scholarships for students who would benefit from a Kiski education, but require financial assistance to attend.
Businesses
When businesses contribute to our scholarship fund through the EITC, they receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on their state taxes, which can reduce their tax liability significantly. This program is a meaningful way for businesses to support educational access while receiving a generous tax break in return.
Individuals
Individual donors can also participate in the EITC program through a Special Purpose Entity (SPE). If you have a minimum state tax liability of $2,000 (roughly $65,000 in household income), this streamlined process allows you to easily redirect your tax dollars to benefit students. There are no rigid deadlines, and signing up is as simple as completing a one-page application.
By participating in the EITC program, you’re not only helping provide deserving students with access to a transformative education at Kiski, but you’re also maximizing the value of your own tax contribution. Your support becomes an investment in the future of young men and women who will go on to become tomorrow’s leaders.
